Ralph Wenig was born in Munich/Germany, grew up surrounded by fashion and journalism. He’s been living in Berlin in the exciting years after the Wall came down for his photography studies, before moving to Paris and then New York, to finally settle his base in Paris.

With his celebrity pictures he tries to bring out a personal character and put the celebrities in situations that they aren’t used to, in order to take them out of their comfort zone and show a different view on them. He has photographed people such as: Isabelle Adjani, Monica Bellucci, Olga Kurylenko, Audrey Tautou, Vanessa Paradis, Adele Exarchopoulos, Mylène Farmer, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Nina Hagen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jean Dujardin, Matthias Schoenaerts, etc.

Besides celebrities, beauty and fashion lifestyle, he is a passionate traveler and has been doing several personal photoprojects in India, Burma, Laos, Indonesia, Arizona, Oman, Zambia as well as underwater photography.
